They likely will not tell us, if there is another place where the souls of the departed go - however given our experiences, there is reason to believe that this is the case.

I inquired on the status of Flayn's hostage, given that she was the first to be killed without killing another, and was told that the matter of such is between Flayn and the Host - the owner of the hotel. But there is no confirmation that her Hostage is entirely forfeit... thus far.
