Yoo Joonghyuk has told me otherwise... Is he a liar? [is he a LIAR?
but mikazuki laughs faintly at that]
'Nerfed'... Yes, I am beginning to understand what that means. I too have been nerfed, though I am far more disappointed about your nerfed...ing. Do you grow horns? Carry a club?
It was more of an illusion cast, he thought he saw a squid. I wasn't actually one. [ so yes, he's a LIAR. ]
..I think you have a different idea of a demon. I don't carry a club, I do grow horns and wings though. [ he really thought he had an oni form huh ] How exactly were you nerfed?
We had our own case of scenarios happening back home. Quests, you could call them. Missions. Happened quite a long time ago... you really think he'd move on by now.
[ hmm ]
We had accommodations from the start for us, and even when we traveled to a new world every week we still had rooms to stay in. It did take a moment to get our inventory though so that part I'm not too surprised by.
I see... That is true. From what I understand, having our belongings delayed is a commonality amidst these experiences - though you are the first to say that you traveled to new worlds each week as well. Did you have tasks in each world?
The squid. [ NOT HIS TRAUMA ] His temperament has always been that way. But, despite how gruff and angry he is, he isn't a bad guy. He's your typical protagonist.
[ stop ]
Usually in the middle of the week. We would have some tasks to tend to. They weren't overly difficult, mostly... strange.
Ha ha ha, is that how a protagonist is? [mikazuki hums thoughtfully before smiling gently] I see. Then I will hope to see excellent things from you both, if you are his companion.
Your tasks... Did they lead to any particular overarching goal in the world? In our village, the tasks led to the purging of darkness from that world.
Only the more hardheaded ones. [ but also kdj has a bias ]
Darkness? Hmm, most of tasks were just... random events, really. With each world visit though we did more learn their history and what connected them- powerful beings that offered protection in exchange of being prayed and honored.
Either adults were being wiped out by creatures from the shadows that sapped them of their freewill or an angel would take possession of us to encourage our hands to kill. Our only means of escaping from our situation was to create a bomb to wipe out the angels keeping us all there.
[ IT'S A MESS. Dokja really sounds like he's retelling a book with low reviews. ]
Some details are a bit frustrating [ hostages ] but, home was in a situation of itself long ago. We were expected to run through Scenarios for otherwordly being's entertainment.
It's probably not a thought that many think is possible.
[ where do you even begin? to fight against numerous godly beings? as endless as the number of stars in the sky. how do you stop a world in its apocalyptic ruin? the burden of that on humanity. but he hums. ]
..But it's been dealt with. We've put it to an end- as much as we're capable of.
[ . . . ah. well - that is good news indeed, isn't it? mikazuki raises one eyebrow in curiosity, but the look of contentment on his face is far more natural than the on he was wearing jus seconds ago]
Then does that make you one who has accomplished the impossible, Kim Dokja?

That is an awful lot of bark...
[he is looking at him like he is trying to see the resemblance of sealife]
no subject
He has a seriously unhealthy obsession with squids. [ smh ] But he is often compared to a sunfish so.
no subject
[jiji, confused: is this human flirting?]
no subject
[ DEFINITELY NOT. ]
no subject
[he does not
but mikazuki laughs]
The Sunfish Supreme King and the Squid Demon King of Salvation. Ha ha ha. What fun company to keep.
no subject
I was never really a squid at any point. [ it's not a thing!!! ] But the modifier Demon King of Salvation holds true.
However, unsurprisingly we've been nerfed again so I don't exactly have my demon form to show.
no subject
but mikazuki laughs faintly at that]
'Nerfed'... Yes, I am beginning to understand what that means. I too have been nerfed, though I am far more disappointed about your nerfed...ing. Do you grow horns? Carry a club?

[mahari you are squid....]
Fufu. I can no longer teleport and summon objects as I please... very bad for my back this past night. Not a pillow nor blanket in sight...
no subject
[ he is crazy ]
I can only imagine. [ grandpa your bones ] You would think they would allow us our rooms by now.
[ the assumption being that they have rooms because hello it is a HOTEL? ]
no subject
[or was it like
a result]
I would have hoped so... In the village, I do not believe we waited so long before allowing everyone into their accommodations...
no subject
[ hmm ]

I see.
And I take it that the bomb worked - but you are all safely evacuated? At least, until some of you found yourselves here.
no subject
[ goodbye godly beings ]
We all were capable of returning back home afterwards so, safe enough until now.
no subject
Good, good.
Well... at least not all of your number are present in the hotel. How are you feeling being in this situation again?

Humanity was made the heavens' plaything?

Play by their rules or lose your life. [ sometimes your world just goes into an apocalypse. ]

his smile does not reach his eyes.]
And should one seek to stop it?
