That's putting it lightly. [ but it isn't said with any malice or aggression, just continued tired.
Jin will lean into the pets, curling closer with a close of her eyes. it's comforting. ]
I don't suppose you're the one that killed Kaeya Alberich. [ is this a repeat of w2 post trial but in reverse. except kdj doesn't have alcohol for them. ]
Did he now? [ Dokja stares at him for a moment, but he nods. despite the supposed accusation, he hadn't sounded suspicious at all actually. ] That's right, he was under the shadow's possession of that week.
[ the murder husbands.. ]
While I'm sure you would have not had a say in the matter of whether your blade was used or not from the shadow, I did not think you were the person to do it. [ a glance to Jin, who quietly peers at them both. ] I had suspicions on Sylvain Jose Gautier earlier, and though it was for Rupert's case I'm wondering if it might have been Kaeya Alberich's instead.
[ that's his actual sussy. a hum. ] ..But I do not think revenge can be truly satisfying in the end, if someone was forced to kill out of their control.
It does prompt one to wonder if two shadows were at play once again, as was the case last week. At the very least, it is the assumption that I was working with during the case of the trial.
Though you still seem to be on the search for the one who killed your comrade.
Since it's happened before in the previous week, I'd say it's possible.
[ our kaeya... ] Mostly out of curiosity, whether they were possessed as well or not.
Someone I cared for died in my previous game and I hadn't been able to figure it out at the trial. The investigations had us all over the place. So with that thought in mind, I suppose I'd rather know than not. [ it does feel bad having your comrade's case a Mystery. the human need of just wanting to know. ]
Aikawa's case has been something I've thought back on. I can only assume there was something we were missing or lacking. [ evidence or otherwise. but damn... our aikawa!!! what tf happened to him!! but jiji your npc hands... ]
Another week will come and someone new is likely to be possessed. [ which is where he notably does sound miffed. god damn nightman ]
I take those rooms were equally as dusty and unused? Other than that, the one Yoo Joonghyuk and I checked out seemed to have a connection with someone we were familiar with in our past game.
[ which is something to think about. ] A bouquet? Not from your companion I take?
... tell me, did everything in that room align with the individual that you think it belonged to? Or was there some anomaly?
As for the bouquet, I believe it to be from the departed. My crane and Estelle received flowers as well - their meanings through flower language varied, but I did receive a flower meaning 'Thoughts of Those Dearly Departed'.
An anomaly... To be honest, I wouldn't be able to tell you. That guy is someone from Hua Cheng's world so he would know best. In our previous game he died the first week and when I eventually died, he mostly kept to himself.
[ considers this, tilting his head. ]
..From the 'dead'? I was wondering when we were going to receive any word from them.

I did not. Though I presumed him the one to kill Zuko, I am not one for revenge. It would not suit my blade.
[ . . . ]
Particularly not after he opened up to me, that he was possessed by shadow even through my accusations.

In truth, it sits poorly with me that even now I do not have any inclination on who killed Aikawa.
So it is not as though I do not understand.
[especially as like. a former npc who always knew where the murders were from,,]

[so someone who just wanted to kill their aikawa foR FUN.]
But it is as you say. For the remaining weeks, unless we find a way to disrupt the system that they have set in motion.

[ imagine... of all the people you could kill.... you kill aikawa for fun... so many stinky people they could have killed and they choose our aikawa ]
If it was something as simple as not playing entertainment, but the shadow is there to push us. [ to kill and all ] Must be something we can uncover.

One would hope so...
... tell me, Kim Dokja, have you heard of any odd deliveries on Monday this past week?
no subject
I did break into a room on Monday with a key I found on my desk. [ break! in! ]
no subject
Mm. I did the same - and with your report, that might be up to seven keys that have been collected and utilized.
I do not think it would be a stretch to suggest all eight were distributed and used this week.
But I also received a bouquet on Monday.
