[ 3. You open a door and immediately hear a roar. Before you can see what's inside the room, a creature bursts out and screams in your face. The face inside the snake's mouth is someone you know from home. Their expression is a mixture of bloodthirst and terror. You get the sense that they want you dead. You sustain one minor injury, but the door slams shut on the creature before it can hurt you further. If you try to open the door again, it won't open, but you will hear your friend's screams from behind it.

Ha ha ha, I take it that you are curious about these new additions as well?
[ Well. He opens the door and peeks in, trying to see what's in there, but it seems too dark from the outside. Bucky takes a step in, but that's when a roar echoes through the room. ]
Maybe. Doesn't matter, not my prob-- [ that is when the giant snake seems to emerge out of the inky darkness, jaw unhinged to reveal a screeching face. Now, I don't know who Mikazuki sees in the mouthface, but Bucky yelps and throws a punch on reflex. ]
[it doesn't really matter who mikazuki sees in the mouthface, he only raises a brow at bucky's immediate reaction. he draws his sword from his hip, at the ready - ]
I'm fine! [ the snake lunges for him, quick as a whip, and...idk, headbutts him? Bites him?? Something snakey like that. Whatever it is, the attack makes him shout and jump back a step with a hiss.
that said mikazuki will decide to at least somewhat attempt to help? regardless of who is seen on the inside of the snake's mouth, he will step forward - quick himself despite all the proclamation of old age - and slice his sword into the beast's neck, prompting another roar.]
[ He turns to give Mikazuki a frown--HE HAD IT HANDLED, THANK YOU VERY MUCH--but that's less important than taking down the giant snake thing. He does indeed wind up for another punch, but then, as per the room description, the snake seems to vanish back into the darkness and the two of them are thrust out of the room as the door shuts behind them. ]
